Biography: 
Dr. Amine El Mahdi SAFHI has been a postdoctoral researcher at the Mohammed VI Polytechnic University (UM6P) of Benguerir since November 2020. He graduated in Civil Engineering from Ecole Nationale Supérieure des Mines de Douai (France) and got a master’s degree in Urban Engineering and Habitat from Polytech’ Lille (France). In March 2020, he defended his joint doctoral thesis and earned a Ph.D. from the University of Sherbrooke (Canada) and a doctorate from the Institut Mines-Télécom (IMT) Lille Douai (France). He held the position of Research Associate at the later institute before joining the Mining Environment and Circular Economy (EMEC) program at the UM6P. Dr. Safhi specializes in the development of sustainable cement-based materials. His focus has concentrated on self-consolidating concrete and high-performance concrete behavior, including rheological properties, mechanical properties, and durability indicators. Other research interests, include upcycle of by-products as supplementary cementitious materials and alternative binder. Dr. SAFHI is the author and co-author of several peer-reviewed articles, conference papers. He is an early researcher with a Google Scholar h-index of 6.
